Freelance Financial Services RFP Writer - Contract/Remote Position

 

Job Description:

We are looking for remote freelance/1099 independent contractor Financial Services writers in the United States to help develop high-quality proposal-ready narratives in response to Financial Services. Applications will not be considered if you do not have specific Financial Services RFP/ Proposal Writing experience.

Responsibilities:

The individual in this role is responsible for creating, revising, and editing content that supports a client's response to Financial Services RFPs. They must ensure that the content complies with each RFP and accurately translates technical knowledge and requirements into clear, concise communications that emphasize business value to clients.

In addition to content creation, the individual must prepare for and participate in meetings, subject matter expert interviews, reviews, and progress updates. They must communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) in all aspects of the role.

To ensure consistent editing and compliance with RFP standards, brand, style, tone, and commonly used terms, the individual must support the editor(s). They must also adhere to deadlines and deliverables when high-volume needs arise.

Collaboration with pursuit and proposal teams is essential to position client products as value-adding, problem-solving, and cost-mitigating solutions that meet regulatory requirements.

Finally, the individual must manage weekly hours by project and weekly budget tracking to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Skills:

The ideal candidate for the position must possess exceptional organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances. Depending on the deadlines for RFP submissions, some work during evenings and weekends may be required.
